NDT and Special Process Supplier Development in Asia

The aerospace and other industries are re-sourcing Manufacturing and Procurement abroad. These activities introduce challenges in supplier approvals for Special Process and NDT.

This presentation will show Hamilton Sundstrand methods of identifying Special Process and NDT suppliers to internal, industrial, federal and military specifications.

Speaker Biography

David Gonion is Manager of Special Processes, NDT and Technical Support for Hamilton Sundstrand.

With some thirty years' experience in materials testing and NDT, he has an extensive background in casting, forging and joining in the aerospace, marine and military industries.

David is an ASNT Level III in MT, PT & RT. From the Milwaukee School of Engineering, he has a BSME and an AS in Metallurgy.
