In 2005, Luke began working at GE Inspection Technologies in his current role as Technical Support Manager for digital x-ray products. This position consists of CR demonstrations, applications engineering for CR customers and software training. He is the resident Technical Support expert for RHYTHM—GE’s new software designed for digital x-ray imaging products, UT, RVI & DR.
In 1997, he was invited by Boeing to inspect the engine compartment of the space shuttle Discovery to help out with a materials issue. He has also worked as a Sales Engineer for Test Equipment Distributors and North Star Imaging.
Luke began his career cutting up x-ray film in a darkroom in the early 1970s and moved up from there. In 1993, Luke started a corporation named NonDestructive Resources to commercialize new NDT technology, one offering advanced RT services.
Luke has an MBA from Xavier University and a BS in Broadcast Technology from Southern Illinois University.
